Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join the PTA?

You can begin by attending a PTA meeting or contacting us at BuckinghamBroncosPTA@gmail.com to get involved. There are a lot of ways to help out whether or not you are an active member of the PTA. We appreciate any and all help you can offer.

When are PTA meetings?

There are 8 PTA meetings throughout the year. The morning meetings are a Coffee Talk with the Principal from 8-8:45 am, then a general meeting from 8:45-10 am. The evening meetings are from 5:15-6:30 pm. The evening meeting will have a kid play area and pizza provided. Check the calendar for the exact dates.

What does the PTA do with the money?

The PTA raises funds for a variety of needs throughout the school. All money raised via fundraisers and donations is used to fund Buckingham Elementary School needs including, but not limited to: field trips, school equipment, enrichment activities, school improvement, and classroom supplies. Please see the budget to see exactly how funds are allocated.

What can I do to help the PTA?

All are welcome to participate in the PTA and do not need to be an active member. There are so many ways to give back to our school: by sharing your time, talents, or financial gifts. We realize direct donations are not always the best option for everyone (although they are gladly accepted). Consider volunteering for one of our various committees, or as a Recess Ranger. We also always appreciate help with our events. Contact us to find out ways to get involved that work with your schedule.
